Dr. Elvira Osuna-Highley is a Senior Customer Success Engineer at MathWorks, makers of MATLAB and Simulink. In her role, Elvira engages with leading academic institutions and educators to support teaching initiatives in computational learning. Elvira was on the faculty of the Computational Biology Department at Carnegie Mellon University, where she gained experience developing courses that leverage computational tools to aid student learning. She has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where she focused on using Machine Learning to analyze fluorescent microscope images.
