Student Paper Competitions

The authors must be students, and the submission must list the faculty as mentors (not authors). The submission can be a full paper (maximum 10 pages) or a short paper (2 – 5 pages). Full papers will compete in both the student paper competition and student poster competition. Short papers will compete only in the student poster competition. There is a limit of 3 papers per author and 8 authors per paper and Students are required to show their Student ID when registering at the conference. All accepted student competition submissions will be included and published in the conference proceedings with ISBN and ISSN. Presentations must be done by students and at least one author must be registered (either student or full registration) by the author registration deadline for the submission to be published. The 10 finalist full papers will present they work in a special session (oral presentation using Powerpoint slides), Judges will choose the best papers based in the technical review of the paper, the poster presentation, and the oral presentation performance. The overall winner receives a trip and registration to participate in the World Engineering Education Forum in 2020.
